We must lean on the word of God and not on what our eyes see. In this message, Pastor Mark Stermer explores the story of the men on the road to Emmaus. They had an idea of Jesus, and when He no longer fit into that picture, they considered Him dead and gone. However, He was literally walking alongside them for hours. Jesus meets us in these moments and points us again to His word to remind our spirits of who He is and what He is doing.
