Many times in life, we leave behind things that we think are dead, when in reality, God is planning to resurrect them in His power. When God resurrects something, it becomes more than we could ever imagine or accomplish on our own. We must lean on the word of God and not on what our eyes see.

In this message, Pastor Mark Stermer explores the story of the men on the road to Emmaus. They had an idea of Jesus, and when He no longer fit into that picture, they considered Him dead and gone. However, He was literally walking alongside them for hours.

Jesus meets us in these moments and points us again to His word to remind our spirits of who He is and what He is doing. He wants to take our understanding from simply being a truth in our minds to being an unshakable foundation within the depths of our spirits.
