WALKING BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT!

from The Kingdom Of God First Podcast. · host Tewe Kolade Felix

Scripture: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV) Message: Life is full of uncertainties, and at times, it can be difficult to see what lies ahead. We often want clarity, reassurance, and visible signs before we move forward. But God calls us to walk by faith, trusting in His unseen hand rather than our limited understanding. Faith means believing in His promises even when circumstances seem unclear. Walking by faith requires surrendering control and allowing God to lead. When we rely on sight, we depend on what we can see and understand, but faith trusts in God’s wisdom, timing, and purpose. Abraham walked by faith when God called him to a land he had never seen (Hebrews 11:8). Peter walked on water because his eyes were fixed on Jesus (Matthew 14:29). Doubt and fear can cloud our faith, making us hesitant to trust God’s plan. But even in those moments, He is patient with us, strengthening our faith through every challenge. As we step out in faith, we grow in confidence that God is always working behind the scenes for our good. Today, ask yourself: Am I trusting God even when I can’t see the full picture? What steps of faith can I take today to show my trust in His plan? Prayer: Almighty Father, help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Even when I don’t understand, I choose to trust You. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always leading me in the right direction. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
