Walking In Confidence

David said, “Encourage yourself in the Lord.” Sometimes, that’s one of the most challenging things to do when you feel you need someone to come alongside you, and that may be true. Everybody needs a friend; the perfect friend can be found in Jesus. Sometimes, you must strengthen yourself in the Lord. That is another word for having confidence. Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in me, He will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” and John 15:5 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." Tonight, I want us to look at how being confident in God gives us the strength we need to face any and everything that comes our way.
