Walking in Faith, Revealed through Yeshua HaMashiach | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

from Psalms23Wave · host Mathew Sekanjako

This is Day Thirteen of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. This episode centers on faith as Scripture defines it, revealed through Yeshua HaMashiach, Christ the Word of God. Scripture shows that faith does not originate in human sight, effort, or imagination, but flows from revealed truth. Faith comes from Christ because Christ is the Word through whom reality is spoken, established, and made known. In Hebrews 11, Scripture reveals that faith is assurance and evidence rooted in what God has already revealed. Faith does not create truth; it rests on truth. In the Greek, truth is aletheia—that which is no longer hidden. Faith responds when God uncovers reality. This is why faith comes by hearing the Word, not by seeing with natural eyes. Faith is alignment with what God has disclosed, even when it is not yet visible.Abraham’s testimony reveals this order clearly. God tells Abram to lift his eyes and see, not with natural sight, but with revealed vision. The inheritance is tied to what God shows, not what Abram imagines. Seeing is followed by walking, and identity is declared before fulfillment. God says, “I have made you a father of many nations,” establishing truth before manifestation. These Scriptures lead us into prayer, grounding us in Christ, where truth is revealed, faith responds, and life flows from alignment with what God has already established.Prayer & Reflection ScripturesHebrews 11:1-10 NKJVNow faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”......................8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.Genesis 13:14–15 (NKJV)“And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him:‘Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward;for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.’”Genesis 13:17 (NKJV)“Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”Genesis 17:4–5 (NKJV)“As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations. No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.” Word Insight: Faith & Truth (Unified Understanding)TruthGreek — Aletheia (ἀλήθεια): revealed reality, no longer hiddenHebrew — Emet (אֱמֶת): faithfulness, what holds and does not collapseAramaic — Shrara (ܫܪܪܐ): established, confirmed, settledFaithGreek — Pistis (πίστις): trust, reliance, confident dependenceHebrew — Emunah (אֱמוּנָה): steadiness, lived faithfulnessAramaic — Haymanutha (הֵימָנוּתָא): weight-bearing trustThere is One true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is One God and One Spirit Who has redeemed us all. I am Mathew Sekanjako, a believer in Christ Jesus (Yeshua HaMashiach), the one Son of God. I serve and confess God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This intercession is offered in faith, in obedience, and in love, for all who will listen.
