In the long run we are going to do it anyway, Either the hard way or the easy way, lol. As for me, I don’t like consequences and I don’t want God to give my assignment to someone else, so if I know it’s God talking to me, I’m jumping. Did God ask you to do something you’re struggling to do? Don’t forget Jonah in the Bible (Jonah 1:1-4). The good news is we can repent. God never turns away from a truly repentant heart, even if that heart beats in a man who tried to run away from Him. The Lord often uses affliction, not to punish us but to bring us back to Him (Charles Stanley Bible, p. 1049).
