Walking in sheep field at Canons Ashby @majadunn @stewartdunn1

from Fiona Dunn's Podcast · host Fi Dunn

Join my #parents and me, #walking in a #sheep #field at #CanonsAshby, a #NationalTrust property, on Sunday, which was, of course, #MotheringSunday. At the start, we talk about #camouflage, after Mum picks up a pheasant feather. There are lots of #ambient sounds, including our footsteps on the #grass, the sheep and #lambs #bleating, as well as #birds singing, on this sunny #Spring day.We find large #branches on #trees which rock up and down, so we have a go on them. Will they hold our weight??? ... My parents also show me various things about other trees, like one with the #bark peeling off, and #cedar #cones. Then we walk round an old #motte and #bailey. I've never heard of them before so my parents explain what they are.Towards the end of this #stereo recording, taken on my #ZoomH1, we hear #buzzards and #rooks calling and Dad lets some people through a #gate.
