Walking in Unity within the Church (Part 4)

Today, Bishop Rodgers continues teaching from Ephesians 4:1-6 on "Walking in Unity." There is a great need to keep the peace and unity in the church, but often it is the place where it falls apart. Oneness of the church is essential for the work of Christ. There is no way for a believer to have issues with another believer unless they are walking in the flesh. A contentious spirit, seeking a position, forming cliques, self-centeredness, anger and wanting your own way are detrimental to love, joy and peace. Christ came to collect into one community a multitude of every complexion, from every land and unite them in one great brotherhood on earth. The one who walks in the spirit and who looks for the Lord's return is going to be a peacemaker and not a troublemaker. Believers are bound together because we have surrender totally to the love of Christ Jesus. The problem is are we really and totally surrendered to Christ.
