Walking in Unity within the Church Part II

Today Bishop continues on the series "Walking in Unity" from Ephesians 4:1-6 (2-3). "Walk worthily" means to exhibit the kind of life that would do honor to the Holy Spirit. The character of the Christian is necessity if the universal church is going to fulfill her great task. Calling refers to the "effectual calling" is the work of God's spirit, convincing us of our sin and misery, enlightening our minds in the knowledge of Christ, and renewing our wills. Our conduct should reflect our new status in Christ. There was be humility, gentleness and a willingness to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Lowliness (humility) is a developing virtue in Christians because it reflects our evaluation. Humility is an attitude and gentleness is the action derived from it. Meekness is the strength to control and discipline. All this equates to us (believers) must learn to get along with people of God. We must learn to be tolerant, forgiving and understanding of other believer's mistakes and sins. May this message teach you how to love (agape) others the same way Christ loves us.
