In the final days of August 2025, I spent the week volunteering at Camp Wendake, nestled along the stunning shoreline of Lake Huron. For nearly 30 years, Camp Wendake has provided individuals living with HIV and their family members a stigma-free, safe, and welcoming space. It’s a place to unwind, relax, and experience the joy of community.Camp Wendake is entirely volunteer-run.
