National retailer Walmart has been seeking to place a store in Midtown Miami, but local citizens have been fighting to not allow Walmart to build a megastore inside the development. The original permit application was quashed by an appeals court. Walmart has refiled with the city, and a hearing will be held on Thursday, November 20, at 5pm.
