Walmart manager earning over $500k after company makes major change

In January, Walmart announced it will be granting store manager’s stock grants up to $20,000, raising base pay from $117,000 to $128,000 a year, and granting significant bonuses. The store also changed the way those bonuses are calculated, the company wrote in a statement. The retailer will continue to evaluate sales, but now if all targets are met, managers can get a bonus up to 200% of their base salaries. When all is said and done, a manager of a high performing store can make well past $500,000.
