Walmart's new inclusivity initiative helps EVERYONE

When most companies talk about "supporting diversity and inclusion," they often refer to a very limited interpretation of those words. Neurodiversity programs support individuals who think, see, feel, and experience the world differently... and they're often overlooked. (Or, at the very least, take a back seat to other diversity and inclusion efforts that capture more headlines.) Well, Walmart is bucking the trend. In a recent initiative aimed at making their stores more accommodating for individuals who prefer to shop in a quieter environment - one without loud music, bright lights, and walls of televisions filled with rapidly-changing imagery. This is a change that benefits ALL people, and as the Dad of an Autistic child, I'm here for it. Walmart probably won't get the attention it deserves for this initiative, but I'm doing my part to make sure they know it's very much appreciated. What do you think?
