Walmart's Permit to build in Midtown Miami Quashed by Court Decision

Three years ago this week, Walmart announced a plan to put an oversized super center store into Midtown Miami. Local citizens opposed the plan to build on technical grounds and won a sweeping 3-0 decision from the 11th Circuit Court sitting in appellate review of the City of Miami Commission's decision. The Miami's commission acted to affirm the Administrative permit issued to Walmart with out the proper process for obtaining a variance.
