　　常有朋友问我一个问题，说你为什么选择帮助盲人？中国有1700万盲人，在十几年前那个时候，用他们自己的话说，这1700万，就意味着1700万受灾的家庭。这些家庭的父母，都会为这样一个孩子去奔波、去游走、去求医、甚至于借债。但是医疗并不能解决他们所有的问题，很多人只能走向失明，在那个时候，一对父母加上一个盲孩子，一家三口，大概要牵扯到5000多万人。
