wanna play fast? then play slowly

As a musician, if you want to play a blinding fury of notes to impress that special someone in the audience, then you have to learn to play those notes super slowly and totally aware of what you're doing. Just like if you want to be heard in a crowd, whisper, right?It's the same with your spiritual balance. Being kind, patient, and self-forgiving, while moving slowly, is the way to stasis. And, it's deceptively difficult, simply for the fact you're moving so imperceptively slowly, only you are aware that you are in motion. Everyone else doesn't see you move, then all of a sudden, they blink, and you're not there anymore. You're over here with the band nerds. Welcome.
