Wanted

God's invitation is open to everyone, and no one is too broken, too far gone, or too unlikely to belong at His table. In Luke 14, Jesus tells the Parable of the Great Banquet, revealing three groups of people who receive an invitation from the same host. The first group makes excuses and misses out entirely. The second group consists of the poor, the broken, and the marginalized who never expected to be invited. The third group is found on the highways and hedges, people so far outside that someone had to go and find them. Jesus Himself is the servant in this story, the One who came not just to knock on the door but to go all the way to the cross to prove that you are wanted. The banquet is ready, the door is open, and everyone deserves to know they are not just welcome. They are wanted. ★ Support this podcast ★
