Wanting What God Does for You More than Wanting Him is Like a Marriage of Convenience

In this episode, I turn the title into a question: Is wanting God the most important thing in your life? Using an example of a marriage of convenience, I take you on a journey through Scripture to confront you and ask: Do you want God for His gifts and favors, or do you want Him? That question was asked of me about eight years ago, and it changed my Christian life. Please know that I want what is only the best for you. And if I, a redeemed sinner, want that for you, how much more does your Savior and Lord? And what He wants is for you to desire Him more than wanting Him to meet your needs.
