War and Peace - Vol. 54

Hello Pilgrims and welcome back to the podcast. It’s been a long time without us, and a lot has happened while we’ve been away, but the best news of all is this: the boys are back in town. We originally had plans to tackle at least two other topics this week, but with things blowing up in Ukraine (literally), we decided to shift gears and talk about the hysteria of the world being on the brink of WWIII. Because Christian’s hope doesn’t rest in the kingdoms of this world, we took some time to speak to our brothers and sisters in Christ, reminding them of our role during wars and conflicts of nations; namely, to point people to true peace—in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We did this by diving into scripture and then leaning on the authority of God’s word as we strive to encourage our pilgrims to avoid the snares of the enemy and the natural pull to be near-sighted.
