War of the Worlds (2005)

Happy 40th Episode from us to you!We close out our random but exciting “Blockbuster Summer” theme with not only a Spielberg film, but a Tom Cruise vehicle to boot — 2005’s WAR OF THE WORLDS, a movie where tripod aliens erupt from the earth after being sent down from lightning bolts and then decimate people with their laser blasts so they can steal their clothes and live off their blood. Can we get any gayer than this?! And don’t you worry, gory babies! We also give a few moments of praise to Hunter Schafer’s nutter-butter summer slasher flick CUCKOO (it’s good), as well as spend some time talking about a certain  lil gory baby’s time on a certain lil movie set a certain lil time ago… (Hint: It was Stanley and the movie was this one.)Episode 40 is available now on all podcast platforms.
