Galatians 5:16-21 - Cravings James 1:14-15 - Lust James 4:1-3 - Passions 1 Peter 2:9-12 - Desires Appetites - external - Things that are outside our body/life that we want to bring into or add to our body/life. Food, Drink, things that we desire. Two recations to control our Appetities 1. Self Control  2. Self - Denial Deny self- take up cross and follow Jesus Application Question Where is my battle? 1. Pray - will you reveal to me what I battle? 2. Be Courageous - it is painful process - deny myself for the Glory of God through the power of the Holy Spirit 3. Rely on God  -  we are more than conquerors through Christ/ Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. Attitude - determines Outcome 1. I deserve leads to defeat - outcome is already set Genesis 3:4 2. I am Dead - leads to Victory- Dead people don't want anything Romans 6
