In the original film, Matthew Broderick starred as David, a young prodigy who unwittingly starts World War III by hacking into a government supercomputer and igniting an unnerving game. To modernize the film, we look at what still works and how we would tweak an updated film to reflect the terrifying realities of our world.   Do we hold to the original film’s vision?
