Warlock-ransomware, BSN-datalekken en Windows Server-kwetsbaarheid bedreigen bedrijven

De afgelopen dagen zijn er ernstige cyberdreigingen voor bedrijven in België en Nederland naar voren gekomen. De Warlock-ransomwaregroep heeft gigabytes aan data gestolen van Orange Telecom in België, wat opnieuw de kwetsbaarheid van telecombedrijven voor ransomware benadrukt. Daarnaast heeft een hack bij Clinical Diagnostics in Nederland geleid tot de diefstal van burgerservicenummers (BSN's) van deelnemers aan een bevolkingsonderzoek, wat de discussie over de veiligheid van BSN's in de zorg verder heeft aangewakkerd. Verder werd een ernstige beveiligingsfout ontdekt in Windows Server, die bedrijven verplicht om snel actie te ondernemen en updates uit te voeren. Daarnaast zorgen nieuwe malware gericht op Android-apparaten en cryptojacking-aanvallen voor groeiende dreigingen. Tot slot zijn geopolitieke spanningen toegenomen, met cyberaanvallen van de Chinese APT-groep MURKY PANDA en de opkomst van hacktivisme in de regio Benelux.
