Warm Mud, Warm Hugs

Posy, a small spotted piglet in soft rubber boots, spends a slow sunny afternoon patting and squishing the warm mud puddle by the garden gate with her gentle neighbor, a calm old duck, while a soft refrain ("squish, squish, soft and warm") returns now and then. It winds down with a warm rinse under the watering can, a fluffy towel, and long snuggles between Mama and Papa on the straw bed, until Posy's eyes close and everyone is breathing slow and sleepy.
