Apart from faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, our savior greater than Moses and Joshua, there is no entrance for us into God's presence. But there's more here than a picture of fearful judgment. The land of the Old Testament story holds out a shadow-like outline of the salvation that Christ has won for us through his priestly work.
