Warpath

Though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil. That's what I tell myself when I am under all this stress, cause in reality I'm fighting to survive. A chasm of darkness, Fills the starlit sky, Lost in the shadows, Left alone to die. I will not wait for the sunrise, If it ever comes. I'll have to keep on walking, Into the night. Am I afraid? Am I insane? These are the questions of the day. Is it that hard to understand? I wanna be tested by the flame. Plunge feet first into the fire. Only God knows what will transpire. So Naïve yet filled with desire. As I fall into the lake of fire. I abandon peace and desecrated law. Farewell to treaties, From now on war is our judge. I will not wait for the sunrise, If it ever comes. I'll have to keep on walking, Into the night. If I could go back in time, I wouldn't change a thing. For this is the life I wanted, The life I dreamed.
