Warrior Priest: Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer

from The View From Here - behind Enemy lines Hosted by Roy Pitta’s The View From Here

We interview Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer, of Sheridan Church in Oklahoma, who led PASTORS FOR TRUMP during the last election, and who is now a member of the White House Faith Office, about matters both earthly and spiritual. Mike and I had feared such an accomplished man of the cloth to be a little haughty and overly serious, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that Pastor Jackson, as he likes to be called, is, despite being devout, very down to earth in his speech, manner, and sense of humor. He is working hard along with thousands of evangelical pastors across the nation to make God and Morality a regular part of American Life once more He is working hard along with thousands of evangelical pastors across the nation to make God and Morality a regular part of American Life once more, and away from the Atheism that has taken hold over recent decades. He has written a book, “Chasing After the Wind: Why Nobody is Catching What Everybody is Chasing”. The book, which has a foreword by Darryl Strawberry, is (of course) available on Amazon. He was not afraid to take the bull by the horns when I asked him for his thoughts on the proposed Muslim sharia enclave in Plano, Texas, and I was thrilled to find that his thoughts on that situation mirror my own. The time we spent with Pastor Jackson was both illuminating and entertaining, and I am happy to share it with our Viewers and Listeners. Please comment on your thoughts about this interview and this wonderful man who is as Patriotic as he is Religious.
