(Warrior Profiles) "Stories of Resilience and Recovery" with Vince Carbone

from Warriors at Work · host Jeanie Coomber

There are so many inspirational stories of Resilience and Recovery in our community and it is my privilege to share their wisdom with the world! Vince Carbone has been a business owner for Subway for 18 years and he has seen many different business cycles but nothing like the one we all encountered in March 2020. Vince's livelihood was significantly impacted by the state wide closures but fortunately for Vince, he was well known in the community and beloved by his customers. The relationship with Vince's community was the fuel and motivation that prompted the creation of an initiative called the Northern VA Adopt and Nurse and Doctor. Vince's group has raised over $30,000 in funding, where 100% of the funding provides provides meals to our front line workers. Vince's enthusiasm and genuine connection to his community is contagious! You will be inspired by his story
