Running a war economy is a profitable proposition just so long as you can keep winning. However, whether we're winning or losing, some people in this country have become very rich from it. Our politicians keep being reelected because of our Military Industrial Corps. and their executives ensure the U.S. Congress passes Defence Budgets that are the largest in the World even if we lose wars. If we lose, it's Americans who feel the cost because a bread-and-butter economy suffers.
