ADHS und Autismus sind beides neurobiologische Besonderheiten. Trotzdem werden sie gesellschaftlich sehr unterschiedlich wahrgenommen. Während Autismus zunehmend differenzierter betrachtet wird, ist ADHS häufig stark negativ behaftet. In dieser Folge spreche ich zuerst aus meiner persönlichen Perspektive als diagnostizierter Autist mit ADHS. Ich teile meine Sicht darauf, warum ADHS oft moralisch bewertet wird, während Autismus langsam in Richtung Akzeptanz rückt. Im fachlichen Teil schauen wir uns an, wie diese Bilder historisch entstanden sind, welche wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse es gibt und warum Leistungsdenken eine große Rolle bei der gesellschaftlichen Bewertung spielt. Eine Folge über Stigma, Wahrnehmung und die Frage, wie wir Neurodivergenz neu denken können.
