Was the Son Forsaken by the Father?

Thank you for joining us as we celebrate our 200th episode of Differing Things! Throughout Christianity it has been taught that Jesus was forsaken by the Father at the time of His greatest need. This is a view that should terrify all believers. If the Father can forsake Jesus at the time of His greatest need, why would He not forsake us?
