There are all sorts of rumblings now that some members of law enforcement as well as some Republican members of Congress could have helped that mob attack the U.S. Capitol January 6 when the vote to make Joe Biden’s election official was being taken.That’s an incredible thing. Imagine what it must have been like with these mobsters smashing windows and breaking down doors to get in as you’re hiding under a desk.How would you feel if you knew you were an actual target, like Vice President Mike Pence who refused Trump’s illegal request to simply declare him the winner? There were people out there calling for you to be hung, and they actually had built a gallows for that purpose!But the idea that some of your colleagues might have been involved in this? And some of the police who are supposed to protect you?Apparently that’s part of the story, though, and I guess we’ll know more soon enough.
