Washington Commanders: 2023 Tight End Room

The Washington Commanders addressed a lot of positions this off-season, but the Tight End position was not one of them to the surprise of a lot of people. Ron Rivera and Eric Bieniemy are looking to get the most out of their young core of Tight Ends. The position as a whole struggled last year with both blocking, and receiving with only 518 yards and 2 touchdowns as a whole. Will the veteran of the group Logan Thomas be back to his self after having a full off-season to recover and knock the rust off? Coaches say John Bates has everything it takes to be a Tight End in the NFL for a long time, and this year he has the opportunity to show it. Cole Turner had his rookie season cut short with minor injuries, but he's one of my candidates to benefit the most with new OC Eric Bieniemy with his receiving threat.
