With the 193rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Washington Commanders select, Running Back Chris Rodriguez Jr out of Kentucky. Washington has been rumored all off-season to be interested in adding to the Running Back room as Antonio Gibson slides into JD McKissic's former role, and more off an offensive weapon instead of a true running back. Washington adds one of the best, and more consitant running backs in the SEC who graded VERY HIGH on PFF every year, including 2022 behind a really bad offensive line. Rodriguez reminds some of Pacheco who played a huge role for the Cheifs last year with coach EB.
