Washington Commanders vs Atlanta Falcons Recap

The Washington Commanders hosted the Atlanta Falcons in a rainy showdown between two teams in the hunt for a NFC playoff spot. Washington's defense has been on a roll for weeks now, and didn't let their feet off the gas with a big time pressence in a low scoring game as the Commanders win 19-13. Brian Robinson has his best game in the NFL, and ran over defenders along the way to hitting over 100 yards on the ground and adding a receiving touchdown. The Falcons couldn't get anything going through the air on a defense that was without corner Benjamin St-Juste, and was held to only 174 yards passing. The defensive line was in the backfield a major of the day, though they struggled a couple times on stopping the run game. Washington made a couple situational mistakes, but found a way to close it out at the with a game sealing interception in the endzone. The Washington Commanders are now 7-5 on the season, and looking to be in a prime position for the wild card spot in the playoffs with two huge games against the NFC East rival New York Giants coming up!
