Washington Trail: The Mysterious Disappearances That Preceded Ted Bundy

In this episode we dive into the early Washington disappearances that set the stage for Bundy’s crimes—Lynda Ann Healy’s vanished night, the Lake Sammamish double murders of Janice Ott and Denise Naslund, and how investigators struggled to find a pattern with limited evidence. We examine the challenges of cross‑jurisdictional policing, the role of witness testimony, and what clues, if any, linked these cases before Bundy was identified. Learn more about your ad choices.
