However, ignoring them does not invalidate their existence and implications. Using the story of Satan’s last temptation of Jesus in the wilderness (Lk 4:9-12) as a basis, Ebenezer explains why Christians should be wary of standing on generic promises of God in Scripture to make adventurous choices.
