Billowing smoke and hot spots throughout the hills. The entire Simi Valley is covered in smoke, so keep your windows closed. Get those air purifiers on the ready. So far, 1,400 acres have burned, but only one house has been destroyed, which had the same owners for 38 years. There are now multiple evacuation zones in the Simi Valley area, including parts of the City of LA and Bell Canyon, and the fire is headed toward the 101.
