Watch out for the Crack-Coon!

from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

It's a short week as we'll be broadcasting live from Gundersen on Thursday & Friday for the CMN Radiothon. I hope you tune in & donate! This morning, we recapped last night's MNF action and yesterday's MLB Playoff games. And of course, the big news this week is Hurricane Milton's imminent impact on the state of Florida. Let you know what's new on New Release Tuesday and we talked about Caitlin Clark switching from the WNBA to the LPGA for an upcoming Pro-Am event. With Halloween right around the corner, there's several limited-edition food items making their way into our lives, including a purple Whopper at Burger King, and some Ghostbusters donuts at Krispy Kreme! Have you heard about the Airheads "Smell-my-feet" Halloween foot spray? It's a real thing! Great story about a Jack Russell who was stuck between two boulders for a WEEK before rescuers were able to rescue her, and a nice article about a couple of bffs in Florida who gave birth on the same day in the same hospital. Did you see the kid who essential beat Tetris by going past level 255? Impressive stuff! Grant Bilse from the Wisco Sports Show joined us on the program, and during today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a possible return of the supersonic jet, a woman in England who claimed to have been knocked out by a cauliflower, an Australian airline that had to apologize for some steamy action on their recent flight, a sheriff that's been t-boned multiple times, a woman who works for an anti-alcoholism charity that got busted for DUI, a man in Canada who shot at the police and then hid in a septic tank, a woman who kept feeding some raccoons outside her house, and a guy who fell into a wood chipper.
