Water Viruses, the Joy of Teaching, and Cooking Chinese Adobo in Hong Kong with Charlie Montealegre

from Rome Learns to... Podcast · host Romelando

Charlie is currently studying and doing research in Hong Kong. He used to be an instructor in the Department of Chemical Engineering in the University of the Philippines Diliman and I've been lucky to have him as my instructor in one of my majors.  In this episode, I asked him about his motivations for pursuing a career in research and in the academe. He mentioned a bit about his current studies (water viruses), the joy he gains from teaching, and his recent experience of cooking adobo. There's a lot more fun stuff we talked about.  Watch/Listen to know more! This episode is also available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBS6lrzm2Uw
