Waterport Incident, Andrew Abrines, Clubhouse Wellness Programme, Dry January

Two men have been found not guilty of violent disorder after being charged for their part in a public brawl by Waterport Roundabout in November 2021. Ian Triay Clarence has been following this story and was at the Law Courts this morning. After 31 years at the Alameda Gardens, Andrew Abrines has announced his retirement. We reflect on his work, having been an integral part of the gardens' growth and development.It's been proven - exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety and depression, and so charity Clubhouse is collaborating with personal trainer Raul Mesa to offer a fitness and wellness programme for people with mental health problems.
