Hi everyone, this is Mariana here. Welcome to your WoW wrap. Who do you rely on when you are faced with a decision? How often do you try to do things in your own strength?

Our scripture this week comes from John 8 verse 28. So Jesus said, When you lift up the Son of Man on the cross, You will know them without any doubt that I am here, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but I say these things just as my Father taught me. Let us be determined this week to always look to our Father God first for our actions. Jesus teaches us, I do nothing on my own.

Yet Jesus is all powerful, all mighty and all knowing. He has complete wisdom, but He looked to His Father to lead in all He did. How much more than do we need to depend on our Father God for the direction in everything we do? Let us only say what God and Jesus teach us.

Let us follow Jesus' example. He looked to the Father and only spoke what the Father taught him. Let us allow the Holy Spirit to help us speak wise and kind words. Let us hold on to Jesus' teachings.

Being taught by Jesus we get to know the truth. The truth sets us free. In knowing and holding on to the truth of God's word, we are no longer slaves to sin, no longer slaves to darkness, but God's children are flight, and let us glorify and worship Jesus. Let us proclaim Jesus as our saviour, our hope, the only one we trust in and depend on.

Let us lift up the name of Jesus. Let us pray together. Jesus, thank you for being a perfect example of how to put our Father God first in all we do. We declare that we can be nothing on our own, in and through you, and according to our Father's will, all things are possible.

Teach us your ways. Holy Spirit, give us wisdom and help us to only speak kind words of life, hope and light. Jesus, show us the truth. We want to walk in your freedom.

We glorify and we worship your holy name. Amen. Have the most wonderful name.
