W@W WRAP - Week 44: Choosing life!

from W@W - Women@Work for God Hosted by Mariana Carroll

What is hope? Hope implies confidence and assurance, and therefore TRUST. But let’s also look at the opposite of HOPE: Hopelessness, disbelief, despair, discouragement, fear and even hatred. Do you know that we truly do not have to feel any of these negative feelings? That was never our Father God’s intention for us! Let’s declare today: “No more worries and negative feelings. We choose LIFE. We choose LIGHT. We choose HOPE!” John 10:10 (AMP): “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”

Hi everyone, this is Marianna here. Welcome to your WoW wrap. What is hope? The Merriam Wipes Dictionary tells us that hope implies little certainty, but suggests confidence or assurance in the possibility that what one desires or longs for will happen.

This implies confidence and assurance and day for trust. But let's also look at the opposite of hope. Hopelessness, despair, disbelief, discouragement, fear and even hatred. Do you know this we truly do not have to feel any of these negative feelings.

That was never our father God's intention for us. Our scripture this week comes from John Tempting. The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance to the full, so it overflows.

Let us be determined this week to trust that our Father God, our Unite, is in control. He is stronger than any situational feeling. When we doubt fear or feel hopeless, we are actually saying that we don't trust the one who made us, who wants the best for us and who has authority over everything. Let's stop making our own plans and trusting our own abilities.

Let's rely on and believe in the one who loves us more and we can ever understand. Let's stop fearing and instead rely on our Lord's strength. Our loving Father is saying to us today, because I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go. I'm telling you, don't panic.

I'm right here to help you. That's according to Isaiah 41, 15. Let's find the rest in God. To be hopeful means to find the rest, peace and happiness in our Lord.

Let's keep our eyes focused on Jesus instead of our circumstances in whom all things are possible. And let's choose life. Our Father God is crazy about us. He wants the best for us.

There is hope and his plans for us are good. His love and care towards us will never run dry, because Jesus is light and Jesus is life. The thief comes to steal our happiness, our peace and our freedom. Let's declare today, no more worries or negative feelings.

We choose life. We choose light. We choose hope. Let's write together.

Father God, you sit in Jeremiah 29, Mr. 30. Let when we seek you, with all our hearts, we will find you. It's only in your presence that we are safe.

In the midst of our darkest and most fearful hour, we declare, Jesus, you are our hope. Father God, you are stronger and more powerful than any situation we may face. You are in control. You are eternal and almighty.

You are the one who knows everything, who determines all things and who keeps everything in the palms of your hands. Jesus, we praise and bless your holy name, because you are life. We choose life and to have it in abundance until it overflows, all for your glory. Amen.

After most of all we...
