His charity began in 2008 with one branch and now operates nine, aiming to expand to 22 within five years. They train young people for search and rescue roles, working with partners like Datacom and NEMA to adapt to future challenges such as AI and community resilience.Steve discusses the importance of financial literacy for youth, the challenges of funding in a competitive charity landscape, and the value of corporate sponsors like Zespri.
