Below gives you an idea of his experience. 1.       He founded the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution2.       He served under Barack Obama in his first term as the co-lead for the housing and urban transition team and then served as the senior advisor to the HUD secretary for the first 100 days of the administration3.       Previously to that he served as Chief of Staff to the US Secretary for Housing and Urban Development under the Clinton Administration4.       He is currently the director of the Nowak Metro Finance Lab at Drexel University5.       Finally, he co-authored the New Localism: How can cities thrive in the age of populism As you will hear, the content of what was discussed is dominated by the US, with some references to Europe. However, what he does discuss will have relevance to most markets and regions.
