WCC| Standing on His Promises: Until the End of the Age | March 30, 2025

This sermon explores the significance of Christ’s assurance in Matthew 28:20: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” As Jesus speaks these words, He is commissioning His disciples, sending them out to make more disciples, yet He does not send them alone. This promise of His continual presence is a source of comfort, strength, and confidence for all who follow Him. We will examine how this promise was first given to the apostles, how it extends to all believers today, and how Jesus fulfills it through the Holy Spirit. In moments of fear, uncertainty, or loneliness, we can trust that His presence is not conditional or fleeting—it is constant and unshakable. As we live out our faith, this promise reminds us that we are never alone; Jesus is always with us, guiding, strengthening, and empowering us to carry out His mission.
