from WCRP on Skateboarding · host Clyde Singleton
When I started doing WCRP, the goal was simple: to bring you the heroes, history & misadventures of skateboarding. Growing up skateboarding, we all had out heroes. One of my biggest heroes, was right in my home state of Florida. And, that gentleman’s name was Chuck Dinkins. Tune in, as Chuck & i talk his humble beginnings skating & surfing in Jacksonville, NC. His first real experiences with racism. How a random skateboard ad in a Memphis record store, turned into his first sponsor. Chuck also shares an insane story, of his first weekend on Walker Skateboards. And, all great things 80’s skateboarding! This is one, you do not want to miss folks!! Thank you once again to the LEGEND, Mr. Chuck Dinkins. I truly appreciate your time, wisdom and I’ll say it until the day I’m gone- If not for brother’s like yourself. I wouldnt be here. So, thank you & God bless. You know how we do about this time.. Its the mighty, mighty WCRP. All praises due, to the culture. Tune in!- Clyde Singleton
