from WCRP on Skateboarding · host Clyde Singleton

Good Morning, and welcome back folks!! Let’s get right into it, with none other than skateboarding LEGEND- Lance Conklin. Growing up in Florida, Lance was everyone’s hero. Not only was he the very first street pro, to come out of the “Sunshine State“ back in 1991. He was also, one of the most genuine people you could ever meet. I’m very proud, to call him a good friend of 30 years. And, today- you all get to hear his story. We discuss growing up skating in Florida. His early days, of riding for Tracker Trucks. Mike Daher & Mike Vallely, getting him sponsored by Powell-Peralta. The infamous, 1990 Reno Amateur Finals. Our undying love, for Ray Barbee. The importance of Bryan Ridgeway. Tony Alva, Scott Conklin, Bo Turner, and all things skateboarding- for the CULTURE! I can’t thank this gentleman enough. Not only for this interview, but for the impact he’s made on myself. And, skateboarding. Much love to Lance, Scott, Bo and all my people down South! its the mighty, mighty WCRP on Skateboarding. Tune in!- Clyde Singleton
