WCS EP 219 - Ed Philion

Straight out of Essex is Ed Philion, now defensive coordinator for the Concordia University Stingers.  Ed joins Drake on the phone (05:09) to chat about growing up in Windsor-Essex and is football career as a player and coach. Once a Essex 73's player, Ed turned to football in high school. Playing a year with the Fratmen  after high school lead him to Ferris State where he was very successful with the team. From there it was off to the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, before settling in the CFL and winning a Grey Cup as both player and coach. Support the show
