WCW SuperBrawl IV

Sup, Bubba?! This week on The Bubba Cast, Lacy and Zerpie fire up the WCW machine and revisit SuperBrawl IV from February 20, 1994, a night where The Boss found himself right in the middle of the chaos and WCW delivered a mix of big personalities, odd booking choices, and classic early‑nineties flavor. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan makes his WCW pay-per-view debut and immediately starts cracking sharp one-liners. Michael PS Hayes talks his way out of a match with Johnny B. Badd, leaving Jimmy Garvin to take the beating instead. Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel keeps popping up throughout the night, and Cactus Jack takes a brutal bump to the exposed floor in one of the show’s standout moments. In the main event, Ric Flair defends the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Big Van Vader inside the Thundercage with The Boss serving as the special guest referee. His involvement sets off a heated confrontation with Vader that launches one of the defining feuds of his WCW run. Join us as we break down the unique energy of SuperBrawl IV and celebrate another chapter in the career of The Big Boss Man.
