I am your host, Lou Mongello, and this is show #230 for the week of July 10, 2011. Disney’s D23 Expo, the 3-day event taking place in Anaheim, California in just a few weeks marks the second time the signature event for Disney’s fan community will take place. Having attended as both a guest and exhibitor during the first Expo in 2009, I enjoyed one of my best overall experiences as a Disney fan. I’m going back again to this year’s Expo with both a booth on the floor, and an excited enthusiast as well. For people going for the first time, or even returning to this year’s Expo, and even people who will be watching our live coverage online, this week we have a roundtable discussion with people who were at the Expo in 2009 about preparing for the Expo, what we’re hoping to see, tips to get the most out of the experience, what’s new, our “wish list” of what we’d like to see and lots more.
